The way there is one of the most scenic highway in this state. Also a few hiking around some lakes are beautiful.








　

Anchorage

One of the bigger city in this capital. Surrounded by mountains and sea. But honestly, sometimes staying in a downtown of the city is not so fun, like this time. Not so many people is there, town is not so clean, some homeless people is there... But I think this is a typical situation in the city in north america. But I'm sure people still have a good life in the city, cuz I could have a good time when I did cycling on the coast trail on Sunday morning, same as many people are enjoying walking, cycling, or something else there. A city in the nature, Anchorage.










　

Whittier

A small town near Anchorage. Taking a ferry one day and 10 hours to north from Juneau. Rainy days made me tired...








　

Mt. Roberts, Juneau

Fortunatelly, I got backcoutry snowboarding one day in Juneau. Just hiking from the end of 6th street in downtown. Hiking up 4 hours. It is amaizing that unexpected alpine is there. Just behind of capital town of Alaska. That's amazing... How can we get great mountain in 4 hours walking from "Tokyo Bay"!?

これぞほんとの裏山ってやつだろうか・・・。
