Sunshine Village 2011

It had been snowing for a week before I leaving there. But in my last day, it got clear sky with so much powder. And riding with ten of my friends! That's, definitely amazing morning.

It's never enough to say good bye, never. Staying and working 5 months in Sunshine Village is just awesome, with many friends and beautiful mountains. Just thank you for everybody which I met in Banff.

Mt. Bourgeau.

is one of a bigger mountain around Sunshine Village. Beautiful and powerful. Even though we couldn't get to the peak in a snowy day, it was fun at all. Climbing five hours and got a long ride! On Mar 30, 2011.

Walking among the trees one hour to get to the base of Bourgeau.

Massive Quake, Japan

These photos are that I took five years ago in Fukushima pref which I had lived and been working there half year just after graduate university. Such a lovely beautiful place is there. Massive earth quake hit on Mar 11, 2011. Even I haven't got any quake or tsunami here in Canada, I was depressed so much. Just sadness things. Fortunately I could know that if my family was fine just 6 hours after shaking. But first explosion in the nuclear power plant upset me too much. I remember that first explosion in no1 reactor was happened at 1am in Canadian mountain time. After hearing that news, once I went to bed, but couldn't keep sleeping, woke up couples of time by morning and I checked news if everything is fine. Since then, four or five days, I've thought lots of things what I can do, or what I should do, for them. But almost no idea came out. Just I could think that I can have normal life I can do here without any flutter.

Revelstoke, BC

On the trans Canada highway, between Vancouver and Calgary. Tons of snow and beautiful tree lines. Staying Mar 1 to 3. Riding in the trees the whole day is not easy. Even though falling down more than hundred times a day, yes, that's fun.

Getting new way

Exploring outside of boundary in these couple of days was fun. Not so deep snow or steep slope, but fun enough in the untouched snow and terrain which I had never know. Like that you were excited when first time you were walking around your neighbor and have found something new way and place.
