Wawa bowl

Hiking up 1 hour from Wawa lift, Sunshine Village, Jan 10 2011. Riding 30 min. Quite nice weather. Short distance, but enough powder snow left from 3 days ago. -20 degrees. Great.

サンシャインビレッジはWawaリフトから１時間のハイク。30分のライディング。良い天気。短かいけど、パウダースノーも十分。マイナス20℃。良かった。







I was surprised. It's not a steep slope, but avalanche was happened. (Not, we made. It was already happened by someone). In Japan, I've never seen the avalunche that was happened in this kind of flat slope. It was defference of Japan and Canada. I need to pay more attention to avalunche exactly.

驚きました。急な斜面じゃないけど、雪崩です。日本じゃこれくらいの斜面で雪崩れてることなんて、一度も見たことないのだけど。日本とカナダの違いでしょうか。ここではもっと雪崩に注意と払わないと。







Lower area isn't fine. Still lots of trees and rocks on the snow.
下部はまだまだ。木と石ばっか。
